At its plenary meeting on 30 Apr 2021, ITU-T Study Group 17 noted that, according to an agreement signed by the Ministry of Information and Communication (Administration representing Viet Nam in the ITU) and by the Directorate for STAndards, MEtrology and Quality (organization representing Viet Nam in ISO), the National Electronic Authentication Centre (NEAC) is the Registration Authority for the country OID for Viet Nam. This was further noted by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 at its plenary meeting on 9 Sep 2021.
