At its plenary meeting on 24 Jan 2014, ITU-T SG 17 noted that, according to an agreement signed by the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (Administration representing the ITU Member State) and by the Rwanda Bureau of Standards (organization representing the ISO Member Body), the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) is the registration authority for this OID. This decision was further noted by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 at its plenary meeting on 21 Feb 2014.
