At its plenary meeting on 7 Sep 2012, ITU-T SG 17 noted that, according to an agreement signed by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (Administration representing the ITU Member State) and by the Bangladesh Standardization & Testing Institution (Administration representing the ISO Member Body), the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) is the registration authority for the country OID for Bangladesh. This decision was further noted by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 at its plenary meeting on 21 Sep 2012.
