At its plenary meeting on 26 Apr 2013, ITU-T SG 17 noted that, according to an agreement signed by the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (MTITC) as the administration representing the ITU Member State, and in coordination with the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization ("BDS") as the administration representing the ISO Member Body, the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications operates the registration authority for the country OID of Bulgaria. This decision was further noted by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 at its plenary meeting on 21 June 2013.
