The National Institute for Standardization and Metrology (NISM) of Republic of Moldova has established criteria for allocating child OIDs and a procedure for organizations within the country to be aware of these criteria. The top-level allocations will be public.

At its plenary meeting in Feb 2012, ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 noted that, according to an agreement signed by the ISO National Body for Moldova (NISM), NISM is the Registration Authority for this country OID for the Republic of Moldova.
