Child OIDs a(1) to z(26) are for each series of ITU-T Recommendations as defined in Rec. ITU-T A.12. Grandchild OIDs identify Recommendations with their number in the given series.

Note: OID 0.0 (identified by null or zeroDotZero) is illegally used in Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Management Information Bases (MIBs) to identify uninitialized objects (see IETF RFC 2578).
